Beallair Community Conservancy Inc. (BCC), is the homeowners association for Beallair, a gated community of single-family detached and villa homes located in Charles Town, West Virginia, being developed by the
Wormald Company. The community takes its name from the Washington family plantation that was initially established on the property in the late 1700's. The surviving mansion, carriage house and surrounding garden are part of the community common area along with the tree-lined entrance, park and walking trails. A picnic area, pool and community club house are planned for future development.
BCC is a non-stock, non-profit organization incorporated in West Virginia to provide for the maintenance, preservation and architectural control of community property, both residential and common area. By implementing community controls, BCC provides for enhanced security and services at a lower cost to allow residents an opportunity to pursue other interests. BCC also facilitates community activities among Beallair residents. Membership consists of homeowners and the Wormald Company with all decisions made by an Executive Board.
The Executive Board is comprised of three members that provide direction to Clagett Management, the property management company, for implementation of its community support responsibilities. The Executive Board is assisted by several homeowner committees that provide recommendations for actions in their assigned areas of responsibility. Currently active committees exist for architectural review, landscaping and snow removal management, finances and historical area restoration and use. There are also several social groups and clubs for coordinating recurring and special event activities among residents.
This website is the official BCC site and is designed to provide news, notices, and documents to Beallair residents registered with the website. A limited access viewing to parts of the website is provided for unregistered guests.
